Your New State Home Care & Hospice Association Thanks You For Your Past & Future Support

To our new members: On behalf of the board and staff of the newly combined Home Care & Hospice Association of Colorado, thank you for the confidence you've showed in joining -- or rejoining, as the case may be -- our organization. We believe HHAC will be the leading advocate in our state for the provision of all health care in the home setting. We couldn't do it without your agency's membership.

To members who haven't yet renewed: We hope you'll re-commit to your professional trade associations, now under the HHAC banner. Simply go to this page for information on joining or renewing. For former HPCAR members, go here to see how to sign into the new website. If you've not re-joined by March 31, you'll no longer continue to receive member benefits. Don't let that happen!

2020 figures to be the most active year yet for our professions. As always, we're facing reimbursement and regulatory issues in Colorado, together with new federal initiatives, including electronic visit verification, the prospect of pre-claim or post-payment review (Review Choice Demonstration),  the “hospice carve-in” to Medicare Advantage, PDGM reimbursement for Medicare provider agencies, and more. Through it all, we strive to increase services for home care, home health and hospice statewide.

The combination of the former HCAC and HPCAR, while exciting, also is challenging technologically and organizationally. Our boards and committees have combined, our multi-association conference continues, and new opportunities exist for you, as our members, to join us in leading home-based care to the future.

If you've joined or re-joined, please take a few minutes to review leadership opportunities for you, your senior management teams, or other members of your staff.

Thank you from all of us at HHAC.
